François Amégasse Akol (born 10 October 1965) is a Gabonese former footballer who played as a defender. He was capped 110 times by the Gabon national team, scoring nine goals, and represented Gabon at the 1994, 1996 and 2000 African Cup of Nations. Amégasse captained Gabon at the 2000 African Cup of Nations finals. After he retired from playing, Amégasse continued to be involved in football.
