Adama Barrow

Adama Barrow (Fula: 𞤀𞥄𞤣𞤢𞤥𞤢 𞤄𞤢𞥄𞤪𞤮, romanized: Aadama Baaro, born 15 February 1965) is a Gambian politician and real estate developer who has served as third president of the Gambia since 2017. A member of the National People's Party (NPP), he has served as the party's president since its creation in 2019. His father was Mamadou Barrow, a Mandinka, and his mother Haddy Jallow came from the Fullah tribe.
